Halloween 2011

When this comes out
I will probably be out
So go out and
Have a good time

Live in the moment

Ramblings of a CEO

They say trust your gut
But my stomach is filled with butterflies
Emotions are fleeting
Stick to the facts
Well facts can be misleading
Numbers do not lie
In my opinion it depends on who is slicing the pie

5x5 Short Story

Endless Sleep
By Andre Alan

Sleep all day and night
Wake to take a shot
Then go back to sleep
If your will is weak
Pop pills go to sleep

Brief Breather But Back Below

I am currently reading Dune by Frank Herbert
The magnificent world building techniques used in this series are second to none
And remind me of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series
Delving into works of fiction such as this inspire me to work on my own titles
And with that being said, I think I will return to editing and most importantly writing

New and Old Books

Just picked up 'By Heresies Distressed' by David Weber.
It has a quote from R.A. Salvatore on the back.
Salvatore is another one of my favorite writers.
Which reminds me to check in with my favorite dark elf, Drizzt Do'urden or Drizzit.

The Time Machine

"Some day all this will be better organized, and still better. That is the drift of the current in spite of the eddies. The whole world will be intelligent, educated, and co-operating; things will move faster and faster towards the subjugation of Nature. In the end, wisely and carefully we shall readjust the balance of animal and vegetable life to suit our human needs."

~ H.G. Wells - The Time Machine

Sci Fi

One common theme I have found in Science Fiction:

I am currently reading, 'the engines of god' by jack mcDevitt.
I cannot help but see similarities between '2001: A Space Odessy' by Arther C. Clarke
and 'Revelation Space' by Aliastiar Reynolds

Each science fiction novel speaks of the future in its own unique way.
Hopefully we as mankind can conquer the vacuum of our universe
and we all can become stars.
